Personality~ Livie was a very, very quiet girl. She rarely spoke in class; her greatest phobia was that of everyone staring at her. Or perhaps of standing in front of class naked. She wasn’t sure. She stuttered when she was a child, although luckily she overcame it before she entered Hogwarts; it still affected her self-consciousness in fifth year (and for a long time after), however.

She supposed she could be brave enough if need be; she’d never really put herself into a position where she’d have to find out. She literally did hide from the older Slytherins, who called her a mudblood and went out of their way to harass her, when they noticed her at all. Thus, to avoid confrontation, Livie’s goal in life became to become invisible. She did, however, have a bit of an obsessive personality, at least when it came to one person in particular.

History~ Livie was born in Surrey, on the outskirts of London, to two muggle parents who were rather shocked, understandably, when their daughter suddenly began to levitate random objects and giggle when they shattered against walls. Needless to say, their family was the strange one on the block, and although her parents were shocked to learn of the existence of Hogwarts, they had always known something was different about their daughter. Luckily for Livie, they were very much supporters of the new peace-loving movement, and accepted her for who she was.

She went off to Hogwarts, leaving two surprised but proud parents behind, and was immediately sorted into Ravenclaw. She made a few friends, but didn’t talk much, and in fact preferred to simply watch people. She had no idea there was any sort of prejudice against muggleborn witches and wizards at all… and so it came as a shock when two Slytherin boys knocked her to the ground in the courtyard one day, calling her names she didn’t recognize and threatening to curse her.

It was a group of Gryffindors in her own year that started yelling at the Slytherins (she’d been too shocked to even think of using her wand, not being accostomed yet to having one), and one of the Gryffindors, the one who looked a little bit sick but who had kind eyes, helped her up and picked up her books for her.

From that day on, two weeks into her first year, Olivia had a crush on Remus Lupin. Of course, being eleven, she didn’t know exactly what it was she was feeling, but five years later, it still hadn’t wavered. She noticed things, too. Like… the fact that he always missed three days of classes once a month, and what those days coincided with… Well, she wasn’t stupid. She thought his mother, who he claimed to always go see, might be the werewolf, but… Remus was always sick, never looked completely well, and she was sure it was him.

Not to mention, she’d caught him smelling things a few times, strange as that was.

But he’d never noticed her, and she’d resigned herself by fifth year to the fact that he never would. But she did try to lend him her notes when he was sick or looked tired. She was quite sure he didn’t even know her name; she was never called on in class, after all. Made a point not to be, for all that her grades were always outstanding. No, he didn’t notice the little blond shadow he’d acquired a long time ago. And to be honest, Olivia would rather keep it that way. It would be terrifying if anything actually ever came of being in love with Remus Lupin. She didn’t even know him, not really.

Even if she’d really, really like to. She’d never say anything, though.
