The year is 1975, the beginning of August, as well as the beginning of another school term at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. This year, the Marauders are entering the fifth year, along with the likes of Lily Evans and Severus Snape. Voldemort is just starting to take power; Dumbledore has just become Headmaster of Hogwarts; and the Marauders haven’t even made the Marauders’ Map yet.

Hogwarts is trying desperately to unite the school Houses and make the students understand that they are all the same, before it’s too late. Dumbledore seems to be the only person who knows what Voldemort is capable of; the only person taking his threats dead seriously. With the Order of the Phoenix not yet created, there is no one to fight back Voldemort’s new followers, who are just beginning to refer to themselves as “The Death Eaters”. The wizarding world is quite a different place then it is during Harry Potter’s lifetime. And it’s up to us to make it better… or worse.

This role-play site is set during the Marauder’s last three years at Hogwarts. We will play to canon and include all the important canon characters we can think of.
